Soulmate — a digital independence suite for intellectual disability
On hold since 2025 — the learnings reinvested in my current engagements
The problem
People with intellectual disabilities (autism, neurodevelopmental and cognitive disorders) and their carers — families and professionals — coordinate daily life on paper: the care home’s handover notebook, a pictogram board, time-and-space cues that aren’t adapted. Information gets lost between the family, the facility and the multi-disciplinary teams.
The approach
A mobile-first responsive web app (Bubble front end, a secured CleverCloud backend, OVH infrastructure). A visual schedule, task sequencers, a life journal shared between family ↔ multi-disciplinary team, and time-and-space cues adapted to hypo/hypersensitivity. The MVP was tested in real conditions: a care home, health-and-social-care facilities (IME, FAM, FO) and carer families recruited via LinkedIn.
The result
- Bordeaux winner of the Déclics Jeunes competition — Fondation de France
- KEDGE Entrepreneurship incubation over 3 years (Entrepreneurial School, funded by the KEDGE Foundation)
- Field validation by several health-and-social-care facilities (IME, FAM, FO) and carer families
- Media: featured on France 3 / France Bleu morning shows and on Radio Campus Bordeaux (“Café Campus”, 12 October 2024)
